Detailed 5-Day Kenya Big5 Safari
Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru with love of Rhinos and Flamingos
Our 5-Day Kenya Big5 Safari starts by driving to Lake Nakuru National Park with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley View Point. Across the equator, southwards of Bogoria, lies the Rift Valley’s most famous bird Sanctuary-Lake Nakuru– Known all over the world for its flamingos. The lake’s water is alkaline and it is recognized as being one of the natural wonders of the world.
Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingoes, of course, represent jewel of the park. At various times of the year, the population of Flamingoes may surpass the 2million mark in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lake shore.
We will arrive in time for afternoon game drive which runs till 6pm. Later depart the park and proceed to Hotel Citymax for dinner and overnight. To suit the needs of our visitors, the operator affords the possibility of upgrading to more luxurious accommodations (at an extra cost).

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara with love for Big5
After breakfast you will depart Lake Nakuru and proceed to Masai Mara where you arrive in time for lunch at Goshen Camp/similar. After Lunch you will enjoy the game drives till around 6pm.
The Mara holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of millions of Wildebeest, Zebras and attendant predators.

Day 3: Full day in Masai Mara with love for Lions
After breakfast we embark on a full day game drive, with packed lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black-manned lion, as well as its abundant resident wildlife and its one of the few places where it’s possible to see the big five during a morning’s game drive (at times all of them in the same day). Masai Mara is perhaps the only place you can enjoy the same authenticity as it was a century ago.
For the bird enthusiasts, almost 500 species have been recorded: among these are 16 species of eagle, plus many hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks 4 of bustard (including the Kori bustard, the world’s heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sun birds.
Enjoy your packed lunch on the banks of Mara River as you watch hippos competing with crocodiles for the best spot to sunbath. During Migration you may witness crocodiles taking down wildebeests and zebras in Mara River as lions and leopards waits for their turn along the banks.

Day 4: Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha with love of cycling
After breakfast you will depart Masai Mara, take lunch enroute and proceeding to Hell’s Gate National Park where you will have a chance to cycle or walk as you enjoy wildlife here. Hell’s Gate National Park lies to the south of Lake Naivasha in Kenya, North West of Nairobi.
The park, which is mainly, comprised of savannah ecosystem harbors a wide variety of wildlife. There are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux’s Eagles, augur buzzard, and swifts. African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson’s gazelle, and baboons are also common. The park is also home to klipspringer antelope. Later depart the park and proceed to Crater Lake Camp in time for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Masai Mara to Nairobi with Unforgettable Memories
Our final day of our walk in the Wild Side begins at 6:30am with an early breakfast then have a nature walk where you get very near to a variety of wildlife to be found in Crater Lake Sanctuary. Later depart the camp and pass by Lake Naivasha for optional boat ride. There after drive to Nairobi with lunch en-route then arrival in Nairobi in the afternoon. Guest will be assisted to access their flights back home or any other destination. Alternatively, you can choose to be dropped at your hotel in Nairobi from where you can leave at your own pressure.
